IUCN Mozambique Country Office is looking for a competent and highly motivated individual to fill the position of Senior Programme Officer, Forests.

The Senior Programme Officer, Forests will play a lead role in supporting the IUCN Mozambique Head of Office and the Regional Technical Coordinator, People & Landscapes, in developing and supporting the effective delivery of IUCN’s programme of work on Forestry (particularly with regards to REDD+ and Locally Controlled Forests) & Forest Landscape Restoration (FLR) for the Mozambique Office in line with IUCN’s regional and global programmes. This will include programme and project development and delivery; as well as resource mobilization/fundraising, operationalization. It will require working very closely with the FLR Regional Hub as well as developing good relationships with development partners, members and commissions.
